Audio kernel and middleware conferences
The ALSA, ChromeOS and Android audio developers usually meet once per year to plan future features, fix complex issues and discuss architecture. The conference covers core kernel audio, drivers, sound servers and any other low level audio middle ware on Linux, ChromeOS and Android.
The conferences are always announced on the ALSA developers mailing list and are open to any audio developer. The last conference was in Edinburgh, Scotland on Monday 21st October 2013 and held as part of the Linux foundations LinuxCON/ELCE conferences. The next conference for 2014 is TBD.
